The courageous strategic move of energy network company Enexis Groep has been rewarded. Together with its partners Schuberg Philis, Sogeti, and First Consulting, Enexis Groep received the prestigious TOMMIE, The Outsource Manager Award,
on December 14, 2017. The group of partners won the award in the category ‘Most revolutionary ecosystem in the public-private partnership’.
Jury member Anja Dekhuizen, a partner at Whitebridge Advocatuur BV, presented the award. She explained what makes this partnership so special: "This group shows that it is also possible to collaborate with government organizations within an ecosystem and not just as separate suppliers. Enexis Groep has proved this during their European tendering process by giving the market the solution for building an agile ICT landscape. This resulted in an ecosystem composed of Enexis Groep, Schuberg Philis, Sogeti and First Consulting, who together can realize this landscape. This partnership wins the award partly because, during their pitch, it became clear that there is a high level of mutual benefit, which is essential for a successful ecosystem."
In March the auditors visited us to carry out the annual ISO27001 and NEN7510 audits. The auditors informed us that we passed the audit without any non-conformities. As a result, Schuberg Philis is recertified for another three years until Q3 2021 (Start date: June 1, 2018) by DEKRA, the Dutch independent council for accreditation.
Schuberg Philis was one of the three nominees for the ICT Milieu Award, the most important
Dutch award for environmental achievements in ICT. The jury was impressed by how we managed to cool our data centers without using chemicals and with 90% less water. A great achievement for our data center manager Arjan Westerhoff and his team, together with the Aqua Innovation Network and UET.
Data centers use millions of liters of cooling water and chemical additives to prevent scale formation in the water cooling system. The new technique uses considerably less clean water and does not require any chemicals. Schuberg Philis is the first to use this technique in a Dutch data center. The jury from the ICT Milieu Award applauded the application of a proven technology in a new area: the cooling of data centers. “This proves that it's possible to achieve substantial savings and environmental benefits.
As a sequel to previous major energy savings, Schuberg Philis is a frontrunner when it comes to more sustainable use of water in data centers.”
In the annual Giarte Outsourcing Performance Survey, we were awarded the highest customer satisfaction scores
in all outsourcing categories: infrastructure management, application management, and end-user management. For the eighth consecutive year, Schuberg Philis obtained a 100% customer recommendation score, with 50% Superfans, the highest percentage in the market.
We really value this customer recognition, especially during a turbulent year of growth, exploration, and acceleration.
As Philip Dries, co-founder of Schuberg Philis commented: “In their survey, Giarte describes the current technology phase as the ‘perfect IT storm’. We experience being right in the middle of it, grasping opportunities together with our customers.” Despite
our current visibility with these innovative projects, the highest scores are still in the field of Reliability (8.6) and Security
& Threat Management (9.1).
